HCMF is excited to debut Kaimana Beach Hotel’s newest venue with an intimate salon-style concert on the breathtaking Gold Coast! The Kaimana Quartet, featuring musicians from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, joins forces with Hawaiʻi’s finest musicians for a night of world-class chamber music.
As part of Cultural Celebrations, this program commemorates the 80th anniversary of WWII’s conclusion, a defining moment in Hawaiʻi’s history, with Mozart’s Dissonance Quartet, once performed in Japanese internment camps, and Shostakovich’s Octet, a gripping work from the wartime era. Experience a powerful evening of history, artistry, and ocean views—complete with a thoughtfully paired beverage.
