Hele Mele is the newly launched outreach division of the Hawaiʻi Chamber Music Festival, built on the belief that “music plays it forward.” Whether through youth or professional artists, Hele Mele recognizes the mana (power) of music to uplift our communities—not only to showcase Hawaiʻi, but to better Hawaiʻi. Launching this summer with a free community concert, Hele Mele demonstrates how music can serve as an act of service, outreach, and philanthropy while driving positive change within the community. Guided by the principle that artistic excellence and community care are inseparable, the initiative unites artistry and aloha as a means of service and transformation through music.
